we went to The Golden Acorn. Of which I hear there are now rumours that there'll be some music played in there shortly! Exclusive! maybe. possibly it'll be like this place soon.
anyway, I searched to see if there was any acorn related stuff on the web, to put in here, and I can't see much other than hotel booking sites. Although I did find this site in the search, which makes for interesting reading cos its all about what the people of Glenrothes like and hate about it. So..."it can get boring sometimes", but the bridge, the hippos and "the largest roundabout in Europe" make us happy. Also, quite a few architecture critics seem to be in favour of demolishing Tanshall completely.
Anyway, go and have a look....
PS, here's the JD Wetherspoon site's "pubs" section, where you can click on "groovy loos" and despair that they didnt think the Acorn bogs worthy of leather seating and mahogany walls. Nice!
